Transmitters
A transmitter blue and its slave transmitter red consist of several elements working together to generate audio waves to send to receivers:
- Power supply
- Oscillator
- Modular: AM or FM
- Amplifier
The red transmitter can work only if it is associated to blue transmitter.
The blue and red transmitters can communicate with each other like a talkie-talkie or as a telephone when they are on the same communication channel.
Any number of Orange receivers which would also be connected to the same communication channel can pick up the communications between the blue and red transmitters.
A microphone is included with the transmitter, but the system is compatible with thousands of different microphones.
Receivers
A receiver (orange) is the counterpart of the transmitter. It uses an antenna to capture radio waves, and play them into the participant’s headphones.

An earpiece is included with all receivers, but the system is compatible with thousands of earphones and headphones.

To do so, you will use one of the three Basic Audio-kit sets, Model LK-001, LK-002 or Model LK-003:
Model LK-001 is composed of one blue transmitter and one orange receiver while Model LK-002 is composed of a blue and a red transmitter and one orange receiver providing additional possibilities. These two basic models, LK-001 and LK-002, are provided with microphones and earphones. They can be used immediately as a hearing aid at no additional cost.
As microphones and earphones are in $5-$5000 price range, you can easily upgrade your Basics Audio-kit set with the best suited earphones and microphones for your needs. If you have your own ear-phone or headset using a 3.5mm cable you use them immediately. If you have a Bluetooth earphone, headset, earbuds or Apple AirPods you will be able to use them with our Bluetooth adapter.

Choose your earphone, your earbud, your headphone wireless, (or none!) to connect to your orange receiver.

Microphones
Choose a type of microphone as input to your transmitter to capture environmental sound, or choose as input to your transmitter
your television, or your radio or Alexa that you connect
either directly or by Bluetooth to your blue or red transmitter.
Use the Transmitter
as a "Moving Ear"
Moving ears : With Audio-kit, you now have moving ears (you can use 2 transmitters simultaneously, the blue and the red transmitter) to listen. Theses moving ears can be placed wherever you have sound that you want to hear, as long as you’re within 100m.
The interesting thing about these “moving ears” is that you will hear within a radius of 100m whether it is you or your moving ears moving relative to each other.
For example:
I have a problem:
- I am in the amphitheater and there are seats only on the last row.
- I would like to listen to the speaker who is 30 m away from me
- and at the same time I would like to record his speech on my smartphone.
Not a problem with Audio-Kit!
- I will put one magic ear (the blue transmitter) next to the professor
- and the other magic ear (the red transmitter) I will connect it to my smartphone.
- I will use the orange receiver to listen.
Other uses for Audio-kit?
Audio-kit was also developed for use for rabbis and participants to take part in a Minyan during COVID-19 times. The same transmitter and receiver technology enables congregations to gather in a safe and socially distanced manner. After all, it’s Kef to be part of a Minyan.
